國鐵推出免費退票措施
Passengers who bought train tickets before Thursday can get their tickets refunded for free – that's the latest policy announced by the China State Railway Group to help people cancel their trips amid escalating epidemic control pressure.
近日疫情防控壓力增大，為方便羣眾取消出行計劃，中國國家鐵路集團宣佈新政，1月6日24時前已購車票均可免費退票。
Starting Thursday, passengers can get tickets refunded, along with the insurance fee, at railway stations or via 12306, China's official railway ticket-booking platform, without being charged, the group said in a statement on Wednesday.
國鐵集團1月6日發佈聲明，自2021年1月7日0時起，旅客在車站、鐵路12306網站等各渠道辦理2021年1月6日24時前已購列車的有效車票退票時，均不收取退票手續費，購買的鐵路乘意險一同辦理。
The measure aims to reduce population mobility and curb the risk of spread of the novel coronavirus during trips, it said.
